It was no surprise when Dustin from “Pocket Full Of Change” and Bryan “May & Treanor/Walsh” teamed up and did well at this weeks tournament. When Dustin (who took 1st last tournament) decided to team up with Bryan (who took third in the last tournament) they discouraged many of their opponents.

Dustin and Bryan are well known for their shooting skills and thought of by many to be 2 of the best 3 shooters in Southern California. Dustin, who has been nothing short of spectacular, continued his hot streak and was the backbone of M.I.A on Monday Feb. 16th. You may remember, in the last tournament Dustin shot a perfect game and made 9 in a row in the final 3 games on January 26th. At this tournament I had the pleasure of scoring 2 of their games and he collectively shot 75% , hitting 15 of 20 cups while I was watching. He is simply a Freak-of-Nature.

Bryan Newell who is well known from “Team Kobe” played consistent enough to place himself in the top 3 once again for a second tournament in a row. Although, I know that anything short of winning is disappointing for these two, it just was not in the cards on this night.

I find it to be truly amazing how some of the players in this area consistently place in the top of every tournament they attend, no matter who their partner is. Just goes to show that practice and dedication really do pay off, Bryan and Dustin are a testament to this.
